Fiber Optic Communication System introduces students to the basic concept of fiber optics in communication systems. This course covers fiber optic characteristics, components in fiber optic systems, losses in fiber optic cable, and the fundamental concept of optical measurement and testing. This course also provides knowledge in splicing techniques with safety awareness, multiplexing techniques, and design considerations in fiber optic communication links.
