MANDARIN introduces students to basic Mandarin language as an added value to their fields of study particularly when performing their duties in their respective fields. This course covers four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing which allow students to produce effective interpersonal communication on topics taught. This  course also introduces students to the basic Chinese characters, social and cultural background of the language, as well  as leadership and teamwork skills.  Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level is marked at level A1.
