Maritime Mathematics 1 focuses on the understanding mathematical concepts, methods and skills, that introduces students to positive and negative integers including simplifying expressions. This course also focusses places a strong emphasis calculate area and volume for several basic shape using correct formulae and rules. This course covers the the depth of knowledge required by the standards of competence in table A- III/1 of section A-III Code for candidate for certification as officer in charge of an engineering watch.
